Francis and the Lights – My City’s Gone

On some albums you wait with high expectations. Other albums, well to be honest, i didn’t really know Francis and the Lights. Until this year. In may a single was released with two of the biggest names in music from this decade, Kanye West and Bon Iver. The video can be watched on Vimeo. Francis Farwell Starlite is the inventor of the so-called “Prismizer”, an audio codec that synthesizes the human voice. It has been used already on albums from Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver and Frank Ocean.

The next video is from Francis and the Lights’ newest album “Farewell, Starlite!!” and has been c0-written by Kanye. It’s beautiful!
