Another 2001 dance classic. Daft Punk was on top of the charts when this was released. And still, after 15 years, i can’t resist singing out loud when the song hits the radio. Still can’t get the words exactly right though…

Ok. There has to be a first for everything. And to be honest, this is the first Nick Cave album i like. Really like. Like, reaaaally like. To be fair, i never really gave it a chance. Nick Cave was responsible for one of the songs i hated most (“Where The Wild Roses Grow” with Kylie Monigue). I hated this song from the bottom of my heart and ever since i could not get myself to listen to other Nick Cave material. Until now. I came across the new “Skeleton Tree” album and love it from front to back. Favourites are “I Need You”, “Girl in Amber” and “Distant Sky”. When u listen, please be advised, this is not music to cheer you up. It’s sad, it’s emotional, it’s beautiful.
